The new investment comprises the acquisition of the largest single collection of Grade I listed buildings in the UK, the Royal Albert Docks. Officially opened in 1846, the docks evolved as a commercial hub and one of UK most iconic landmarks. Tenants include national brands trading as Premier Inn, Holiday Inn, The Beatles Story, Gusto, Rosa’s, Thai Café and Miller & Carter as well as a mix of independent leisure, retail and office tenants. This transaction forms the second Joint Venture between neo and General Projects , following the formation of a partnership in 2021 to comprehensively redevelop 43 Brook Green into a new 120,000 sq ft best in class design-led office HQ. Alongside General Projects our focus will be to preserve, enhance and inject new energy and investment into this world-class complex to maintain and secure its future through undertaking a refurbishment plan, improving tenant mix and implementing a marketing strategy to rebrand the asset.
